Life in the Strip

Just passing along an update on daily life in the Gaza Strip. Cannot imagine raising children there. -J

Dear Jennifer,

Hi there!

Last night people were worried and could not sleep well because of Israeli fighter-bomber F16 was flying in the sky plus reconnaissance planes with their noisy buzzing. Late at night and in the early morning F16 hit three places in Gaza Strip. In the middle area, a small bridge was destroyed being bombed. In Gaza a main soccer yard was hit and in the north of Gaza city a barren area near ex-settlment Dugeet was bombed as well. Earlier in the day and for several hours Israeli artillery shelled at barren areas in Gaza City. As usual, it was frightening especially for the children.
